Busy Saturday

Last Saturday Luke went to his first birthday party. Karleigh turned 2!! After the party we took a nap and then we were ready to try out the pool. Luke didn't seem real thrilled with it so we just stuck his foot in the water. We had a really busy day!!

Weekend!

It was so nice to spend the whole day with Luke again. We just hung around the house and napped and napped. I miss my naps at work now. Jeff came home from a 12 hour shift and slept with Luke in the recliner. He hadn't seen Luke since Thursday evening with his crazy schedule. I can't believe the weekend is almost over. Jeff is working second shift this week so he is going to keep Luke some during the day. Lucky duck (with the keeping Luke part...not second shift).

Rough day

So, today was my first day back to work. It wasn't as tough as I thought it would be. It helps knowing that he's with my mom.

I think the toughest thing today was his doctor's visit. Luke had to get 3 shots. I'm not sure who cried more, me or him. The poor thing didn't just cry....he screamed. Whoever invented shots may just be evil. I know it keeps him from getting sick but I don't think I can do that again. At about 9:00 he finally let me lay him in his crib. Before that he screamed if he was not in our arms. Luke is now 11 pounds 3 ounces and he's 24 inches long. He's growing so fast!!

I may find it's a long night and it's just me so I better sleep while I can.
